I've got my mind made up. Which is kinda more than a lot of college students can say. *laughs*

I wanna work with foster kids. My sister Anna actually does a lot of volunteer work with battered women and children. She's also an NYPD liaison with the city social work department.

Physics here, with a minor in journalism, I think. This is the year we have to decide and talk to our advisors about graduating at the end of next year, and grad school. All that.

That is even more cool. Kids needs to be protected more than anyone else, with the possible exception of seniors.

You a senior in college? I've got a minor in Psych. I'm kinda following in my sister's footsteps. She's a Homicide detective with the city Crime Lab - graduated from New York University (where I go and my brother went) with degrees in Criminology and Psychology.

My sister actually wanted to work Special Victims because they're the ones who handle most of the cases with children. But she couldn't because of some things that happened which biased her against the perps in those cases.

Junior at Met U. She sounds a little like my brother Jon. He's in law school now and wants to change the system for the better from inside.

Ohh. Senior at NYU. Is he going to be a DA? If he has any questions or wants to go out to New York to practice, my sister's got connections.

Me too. I was nine when it happened, and I didn't really find out what happened til a few years ago.

Anna and seven other girls she went to school with were attacked and raped by this sicko on Staten Island when she was 17. He cut her back with a knife and it left this really gross scar on her back. She was the fourth victim and her best friend got raped after her. Anna blames herself for not being enough help for the cops to catch him. It's why she's a cop and can't work Sex Crimes. It was a year before my parents split and dad got custody of me and my brother.

She's got a lot of hate and anger and pain inside her.

I think he plans to stay out here, actually. Dad isn't too keen on any of us leaving the state outside of holidays or other trips. He has a 'letting go of the kids' problem according to Mom.

No. She's still searching for him. Anna literally has all of the reports copied in triplicate and stashed in boxes in her apartment.

Dad has it really bad, though. He's extremely possessive of his family, but, being that he's a only child, I can't exactly blame him.
