Anna woke up slowly in her hospital bed, blinking blearily for a minute at the dim overhead light panel on the ceiling while her mind put the pieces of the last day back together. Breathing hurt a little, and was a little difficult, she noted before lifting her head slightly. It fell back on the pillow as she groaned - bad idea. That hurt too. Plus it made the room spin. Eva shot up out of her seat, moving to Anna's side, relieved tears in her eyes. "He went out for a second, he'll be right back, promise. Oh god, Anna, you're okay. Thank God. We were so scared..."
