He sighed, leaning against one side of the elevator.

"The minute I did, I returned. No, I wasn't faithful and I apologized for that not that I can't do anything about that -- but I left him there and he drove here, Eva."

What he said next, Ford knew would hurt Eva but also that he may be slapped. Unfortunately, he had no idea how else to explain things.
